Bernazard, Omar, and J. Wilpon...

Posted on: June 18, 2008 10:39 pm

Was Willie Randolph undermined?

By Rad92

The Facts:

<dir></dir>

he is no longer a player and should not protect the players.... he should protect the organization

The Speculation:

<dir></dir>

--Omar watch your back! because your so called "amigo" (Tony) just might stick the knife into it--

--don’t get me wrong... I myself hated Willie... I think he sucked but he was treated unfairly--

this article by john madden says it all...

Tony Bernazard is always in Jeff Wilpon’s ear, and swaying his decision, probably trying to gain his friendship, so he can make Omar look bad so he can get the gm job(Omar saying it was entirely "his" decision, he may have been forced by ownership/Tony to do so, in order for him to keep his job) {Omar was very reluctant to fire Willie}

Tony wants to show Willie that it is "his" team...

It has been said that Tony and Willie do not get along with each other very well...

bernazard definitely wants to make Omar look bad... because he is after all an ambitious and honorable man like cassius from Julius Caesar...

he wants to be mlb's second Latin gm

last year Mr. wilpon wanted Willie out...

Mr. Bernazard is very close to both Omar and Jeff w...

Omar was very upset in "his" decision to fire Willie, he was very emotional... I’ve seen gm's fire managers before and none were as emotional as he was...

There is a leak in the Mets organization(could it maybe be a higher official, somebody who is close to omar{tony bernazard})

Willie was not allowed to choose his own coaching staff...

The decision to fire Willie was made last Thursday, which "somebody" leaked and told Omar to wait till Monday night/Tuesday morning...

management never wanted to give him a contract extension...

Brian Schneider said today on the fan that bernazard is always around...

mike and mad dog just said that bernazard used to relay comments said about the players during management meetings back to the players…

Mike Francesca just said it is bernazard and not Omar that has the obsession with the Hispanic players

Tony also used to work for the players union... and did not want the Mets to trade for Kevin Millar because back in the strike, Millar was a replacement player...

Bernazard, Omar, and J. Wilpon...

I really hate this whole awful mess. The Mets handled it badly, but on the other hand, so did Willie. If he could half light a fire under his own players ass he would still be in town.
